Reminds Me of 80's Literature by L_Walker_M |
| Flipped is a book that reminds me of 80's children's literature. Why? Does not give easy answers, and leave questions at the end. The way the narrative explored the two main character's (Bryce and Julianna) points of view on the same situation was really quite interesting. Shows that people remember different aspects of a conversation or event. Flipped is about Bryce's transformation from looking at merely at appearances to actually seeing how to value people's quirkiness. The ideal family is not so ideal, and the "odd balls" are the ones who know real love. |
